The free breakfast is a cut above the one at Holiday Inns. As if the cars and people on Atlantic Avenue were not entertainment enough on a warm Friday night in February, the Colony provided the perfect live band on its front porch: a duo called PinkSlip, perfect complement to the architecture and decor, fresh, gentle harmony applied to 1960s classics and current hits. Easy listening, easy living, oh what a night.

We enjoyed having the Reflections bar/restaurant on property and the specials/happy hours and bartenders were terrific. Glad we were there in the slow season as again, it is a tiny area with just a handful of tables so it must be a zoo during "The Season." Also enjoyed the music (particularly the band "PINK SLIP") and participated in several activities at the pool - the staff was fun and helpful. Won a few free drinks and a movie to watch in the room. Yay!
